FABER, parent company of PRS, has retained its EcoVadis Platinum rating for the sixth consecutive year, increasing its overall score from 86 to 90 out of 100. The result places the European provider of circular load carrier pooling solutions again among the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide, reflecting continued progress in integrating sustainability into its business operations and corporate governance. The assessment is conducted at FABER Group level and includes its businesses IPP, PAKi Logistics, PRS and vPOOL.
EcoVadis is an internationally recognised provider of independent business sustainability ratings. Its assessment evaluates the quality of companies' sustainability management systems, examining policies, actions and results across four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The ratings provide organisations and their business partners with a standardised framework for evaluating sustainability management and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Measurable improvements across all assessment areas
FABER’s latest assessment demonstrates progress across all four sustainability themes. Its Environment score increased from 90 to 93 points, while Labour & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement both reached 90 points, up from 87. The Ethics score improved from 79 to 82 points.
The improved performance reflects a series of initiatives implemented across the organisation over the past year. These include the introduction of strengthened policies, progress towards fully FSC-/PEFC-certified sourcing of newly purchased wooden pallets, and the validation of FABER’s emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Further developments include third-party verification of sustainability reporting and the continued integration of sustainability considerations into human resources, operational management, risk management and procurement.
Together, these measures demonstrate FABER's systematic approach to strengthening its sustainability management framework and embedding responsible business practices across its European operations.
